Tuesday, October 26th 9:00am-5:30pm: Women's Empowerment Summit. The Urban League of Southern Connecticut is hosting a summit to empower women featuring Carla Harrisand Kerri Kennedy and honoring Congressman Rosa DeLaura. It's a great opportunity to connect and make contacts with like-minded women and shop around the various vendors. Dr. Marr will be giving posture screenings and demonstrating The SOAR Method. SHA is teaming up with the CT Red Cross to offer a two-day certification class. Learn how to save lives with CPR for adults and children, defibrillator use an basic first aid.
